SDO Ligao City Conducts Initial Evaluation for Newly Allocated School Counselor Positions
The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Ligao City has initiated the recruitment and selection process for thirteen (13) newly allocated School Counselor positions. Following the receipt of the Notice of Organization, Staffing, and Compensation Action (NOSCA) from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), the Division Office immediately issued a memorandum inviting qualified and interested applicants to submit their application documents.
As part of the selection process, the Initial Evaluation of applicants was conducted from August 14 to 19, 2026. The evaluation focused on assessing applicants' education, training, experience, and eligibility against the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Qualification Standards and the minimum requirements prescribed for the position.
The activity ensured that only applicants who met the established qualification standards would advance to the succeeding stages of the recruitment process. This initiative underscores the commitment of SDO Ligao City to upholding merit, fitness, and fairness in the hiring of qualified personnel who will contribute to the delivery of guidance and counseling services in schools across the division.
